    Great job noticing the line of symmetry Noel. I’m glad you guys saw the connection to multiplication also. You are all impressive SMath investigators.

    Damian: It looks like the starfishes are mirror images of each other. It looks like there is an imaginary line in the middle.

    Does anyone know what we would call that imaginary line?
    Noel: A line of symmetry :)

    Tyler: Science: Starfish are actual living organisms.
    Adam: 5×2=10; there are 5 arms on each of the starfish and there are 2 starfish for a total of ten arms.
    Daniel: the shadows are behind each of the starfish because the light is shining directly above them.
